Governor of Assam

His Excellency Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, Governor of Assam, visited Headquarters Eastern Command and the Eastern Command Museum. During the visit, the Governor was briefed on the Command’s strategic responsibilities and operational ethos, and he toured the museum exhibits that reflect the operational history, campaigns, and traditions of Eastern Command. Governor Acharya expressed his appreciation for the professionalism, discipline, and commitment of the personnel of Eastern Command. He commended their sustained dedication to duty and national security and applauded the efforts to preserve and present the history of Indian Army
